I hope I am posting in the correct forum. If not please forgive.

I have a strange scenario here. Maybe just my ignorance. Apologies if so.

I replaced a dvd drive on a console recently. It has now come back. It cannot play some games. (Just displays "Play DVD"). The particular game is Madden NFL 10.
The game is original and works in other consoles.
The original drive is a DG16D2S and I replaced it with a Samsung MS28.
The console is on 2.0.16197.0 dash.

I have tried making a "new" firmware for the drive using LT Stock firmware for a Samsung using post 13141 firmware and injected dvd key. But it doesn't help.

Any thoughts?
